SKYWARDS
Pause a moment, take time out to gaze skywards
How simple a fact, yet rarely do we pause and
speak quietly to the night sky.
Deep ebony coloured beckoning us with starlight.

Bur rarely do we pause and reflect upon our mortality
Gaze skywards and embrace infinity in the starlight.
Pick a star speak its name as someone you loved.
Peace and tranquility enter our lives, if we speak to the starlight.

Lovers and loved ones who have gone before us are with us still.
Gaze quietly upon the starlight and listen to them speak.
The light of their words enter our soul if we talk to the stars at night.
Reminding us that in this cosmos of ordered infinity we are never alone
