'' Your Fear You Can Learn To Endure ''
Fear is something instilled in us all,
Irrational it can do more than annoy,
Be it spiders or mice when you get that call,
Your mind it can literally destroy.
Fear is something that takes many guises,
What's the difference, who can say?
It manifests itself in all shapes and sizes,
What doesn't scare you will cause others affray.
Fear is something which can help you survive,
Adrenalin flows through your veins,
It's nature's way of keeping you alive,
To escape you will go to great pains.
Fear is something we all love to hate,
Yet for danger we have a desire,
Be it watching a horror or tempting fate,
Where the consequences could well be dire.
Fear is something we could not live without,
For all around us we need to be wary,
Life is dangerous of that there's no doubt,
Day to day happenings can be scary.
Fear is something you should never ignore,
It's a warning of dangers ahead,
When you feel it there could be trouble in store,
You wouldn't want to end up dead.
Fear is something you should treat with respect,
Though you feel all it does is cause strife,
It does give you valuable time to reflect,
Which in turn could well save your life.
Fear is something you can instil in others,
By playing games with their minds,
The problem is when arrogance smothers,
If bit back it usually blinds.
Fear is something we'll encounter until death,
Heed the warning signs as there is no cure,
Then until you take that final breath,
