Response to Heart and Soul
Two souls living worlds apart it would seem
The only time they come alive is deep within a dream
Denied True Love for protection sake
They both paid the debt this action make
For when sun shines down on one
The other feels the noon day sun
When one is lost, a tormented soul
The other unable to find a home
The connection stronger with each passing day
Knowing they need each other come what may
And fate is not without irony
For one soul tied a knot you see
They had no truth when they did this
For had they remembered their True Bliss
A lot of pain could have been avoided
And their life as one would have already started
Their second act is about to begin
And within each night their love will live
At noon day sun one calls the other
“Come hither my love and give us a quiver”
The other pleasing with every call
Because they know this one has it all
Faith and patience rue the day
When in real life they can hear them say
“To The Tent, To The Tent let's go and play”
And smiling meekly they race away
