I am innocent
I didn't choose where i grew
I am dear friend
I prevent flooding
I share my branches with birds
They yield their young in nests made from me
I feed many animals
I grow fruit
The only thanks i get is death without reason
I give you more oxygen
I make the air cleaner
I make the world beautiful
I am just an innocent tree
I let children climb on me even though it hurts
I don't bark back or bite
I see many of my friends been cut down for no reason
We do make paper, furniture and matches
Don't cut us down for no reason
We didn't choose where we would grow or how big we will become
The wind may blow us down and we block roads, but its no our fault
People kick us, but we don't say how much it hurts
Kids pick our leaves and then again we can't say how much agony it feels
Don't hurt us we're only innocent trees
We are a friend and not an enemy
