Love For a Single Dad
I wrote an imaginary poem of myself with a single dad of what I have seen in the British movie,
“Ladybird, Ladybird”. It was very emotional and dark about the “propaganda” British social
service system. They said that if father is not good, the social worker with police will come
to take the children away from the caring mother to the foster home. Wow! That must be wrong
and ridiculous law. But it's British law that the British citizen dwellers have to let them be.
Here is a poem of what I imagine myself in this movie:
“Love For a Single Dad”
Written by Loi in February 19, 2013
When I entered a pub,
I saw a single dad
He was singing a beautiful sad song, sad
A song about his loss
He saw me standing in the corner
While I was watching and hearing his singing
Then, when he finished with his song,
He came to meet me
He wanted to introduce me in his opening story life
And I did that to him, too
He told me that he lost his two beautiful daughters
His daughters were taken away by the social service
And were sending to the foster home
Are his two daughters living in Rome?
Uncertainly, he don't know where they live
So it must be wrong for the social service
But it rule says, “If a mother is not good for a child,
“A child will be taken away from a caring father.”
A single dad is not so happy
So, I have a love for a single dad
He will not be feeling sad
When he finally have a good woman, me
I'm a good mother to my two cute sons
However, sadly, again the social service took my two sons away from me
Because of the false accusation made by my neighbor
I had to let them be
And a single dad was very angry at me
He was yelling and crying against me
I tried to soothe him
But he continued to do so
Until I finally calmed him and I said,
“I'm going to kill myself because they took my two boys away from me!”
A single dad took my hand and pacified me
A year later finally, a social service allow us to keep our new child, a daughter
And a single dad is very happy about having a daughter.
