  A Glide Of Velvet Fingers

He brushed my cheek so soft
Oh,'glide of velvet fingers
So soft and lovingly
Like silent song that lingers
'with notes of indulged fields
That dance in mid of air
He became my hope
My lull from great despair

His smokey eyes of love
Pulled my heart right in
and suddenly I felt,
It’s him that’s always been
I think of his sweet soul
And all that makes me weak
It’s in the passion of his kiss
It’s in the way he speaks

So when our eyes lock
Across a crowded room
 heart of mine fills instantly
Despite the day of gloom

I’m overwhelmed by this force
Of energetic power
Precious moments that we share
To keep me through the hours
Until his fingers glide
Across my cheek once more
I savour sweet of velvet feel
Like none I've felt before

Soul!
