I shouted out to God above
what will become of this love affair?
Will it last the test of time and render...
Or will it wither like ashes on the pyre of ...
broken hearts?
I shouted out to God above
you Almighty can see into the future
will this dream become a reality of ideals
and the plans we seek appear or just disappear
Like an illusion?
This time I pleaded with God
Oh Lord give me just a small sign that our love
will last the test of time, grow like the vine and be sweet
a sign to show all will be complete between us, love and compassion
also let us know that you will be with us for the rest of our days
This is all I beg of you My lord, just a simple sign, for a simple soul -
