From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
I was ready
Thinking wait till she sees my smile
Then she flashed hers
One that Julia would envy
I just might consider myself lucky
But I've been oblivious to it all
Since her spell hit me
I wouldn't be me if I didn't take the chance
She says she's a romantic
And all I need is love
Well, tell me this
Is she the kind who's hopeless
I'm hopeful that she's not
Cause then I don't have to be heroic
Trying to give up on these antics
So it would make this easier
But my guess is that she is
And this road ahead extends quite far
Sigh...
Man how I miss the ocean
It's not the only to want to swim good
I've got to get over this feeling
Or at least I feel I should
Don't expect me to make sense
As she took that away
Once she made off with it
And barricaded herself
Behind that high tech security fence
Trying to see if we have any strength left
Cause we sure did seem to thrive
Ha ha ha
The sound I can't help but produce
Joyous and carefree
Was our attitude
Till I crossed that line
Then she finally told me...
She told me she's afraid of mirrors
