WRATH OF THE GODS
And shadows follow me everywhere
I have no light about me these days
the sun has lost its shine and warmth
I feel the coldness of the dark all day
Is this my punishment from the gods?
Will I live out my life as a tormented soul
walking within the darkness for evermore?
What illness has befallen me, what ails me?
Gods if I have upset you then take note
I meant no harm against you, I am no enemy
pray that you will see me for what I am and set
me free from this torment which you have set me
