Sweet morning brush against my cheek
Oh let me see the light
Another blessed day becomes
A flowery finale to darkest night
Let this we pray be a day of flight
Where my reins steer me through the sky
On horse-back fading distant view
Where larks do dare to fly
Raging furnace rising to the east
Penetrates the coldness of the dawn
A promised land that is our abode
No man dare reveal his scorn
