~I Call Upon The Angels~

As I lay in dim of dark
And shadows come to call
They stir a slight of reminisce
For those succumbed to fall
The shades of pale I find
Beneath the stars of night
Are those of laughter, Often heard
Hence, Yesterday’s delight
And so I tip toe once again
To home of yesterday
Where I’m embraced by warmth
By those who couldn’t stay
Sometimes the pain subsides
And I’m okay once more
I’m grateful for the opportune
To walk through the same door
I know they’re in a better place
The bible tells me so
And so I practice patience
For heavens lovely glow
And call upon the angels
When child within me weeps
So cradled by the sound of love
And flowers perfumed seep
They comfort me like chamomile
As I drift off to sleep
So soft so calm, So far away
Adrift like calming sea..
