Excellent 
Wonderful 
Beautiful 
and
Just a touch haunting

Every word placed 
Perfectly into prose
Held with dignity 
Lyrical swirls 
Into words
That are singing to me

Leaves me
Wanting 
and
Needing
To hear more of the day

For you

That are no longer filled
With any
Senseless agony

For our little girls
Dying inside
Of our women

Keep writing the story
That carries your tune

For
With that 
That is your sword

Your powerful pen

You can help lead us all
To a freedom, again 

Including 

Your childhood
That now has a "front yard "
To joyously play in!
