By faith God has approved,
For being His child;
And has also removed,
Sins that made you wild.
We have a peace with God,
For what the Lord has done;
And must honor and laud,
The Father and the Son.
Through Christ we can approach,
And stand in His favor;
In fact I can encroach,
While with the Savior.
Through Him we have a door,
Because of the confidence;
So we love and adore,
Building our defense.
Through Christ we have access,
By faith into His grace;
Knowing that He will bless,
Comfort with His embrace.
We rejoice in the hope,
Of the glory of God;
Though we do have to cope,
At times when we are flawed.
We brag as we endure,
Because of steadfast love;
Putting shame out no more,
That is cleansed from above.
