The Social Network, BC Before Computers way before when ham operators ruled the world so we thought at twelve and thirteen and two-way radios not so normal modified with switchable crystals and antennas stretched on copper wire could reach Mars Motorola would be proud with our scanners tuning in on unknown frequencies where cracks and crackles turned to shrieks and jitters when far away planets somewhere out there spoke and Beatles were on AM so we'd skip signals into space that they'd hear singing like drunkards sleep deprived Let It Be "let it pee" into the wee hours of morning aliens whispering words of wisdom. |
