Happy Father's Day!

It's this time when hearts like mine weep
Memories of Daddy appear in my deep sleep
He laughed and hugged me as he did before
A minute of silence then he slipped out my door
There he stood before me just as bright as day
His short visit was beautiful without much to say
I know his kind spirit guides us in a special way
He is our sweet old Pops who worries if we're okay
His home is far, well hidden by the blue sky
'Twas the Lord's call, we do not question why
Daddy told us at times, he spoke of heaven's peace
Why dread the afterlife where all our cares cease?
So Dad, be sure you wait for me 'till we meet again
You & Mom will welcome me, on that one way train

My Dad, was a very proud ex-serviceman He was born Belize City. C.A.
He was sent to Scotland in the war from Belize, where he gave his best in WW11.
Happy Father's Day, Daddy, we remember you always. RIP, Daddy.
We love you very much. Until we meet again, Daddy, RIP.
We hold very close your precious memories....
