If I were never cast aside - as a little girl - nor
Felt the rough sand enter in - to form a precious 
Pearl - I never would have known the love - of my 
Heavenly King - who told me - He had chosen me - 
To be His special one - nor would He have given me 
A brand new name - and called me - His Star Bright - 
No longer cast off - or rejected - but a treasured and 
Beloved child - in my Heavenly
Father's sight .

This my friends - can be the same for all - who call on Him -
In humble truth today - he'll take you in His loving arms - and
Cast your past away - then - He'll call you His beloved child - 
And on you  - His love - He'll graciously  out-pour - then you too 
Can enter  His worldwide family - and be alone 
No more .

Though times may seem somewhat unfair - and people 
Let us down - we can choose to turn our thoughts to 
Bitterness - and wear a constant frown - or we can see 
The hand of God - guiding our furrowed way - and see by
Faith - the harvest - that is ours to reap one day - So we can 
Either stand and pout - and suffer all alone - or smile with 
Joy in knowing - that our God is in the detail of the path
That leads to Home .

I wrote this poem on Father's Day in the UK ....on June 16th
2013..when God reminded me that even though I was cast off
and rejected at five years of age , He accepted me and adopted
me into His family , and He gave me a new family , a new name 
and a new life .

Romans 8v28 tells us ... In all things God works for the good of 
                                             those who love Him , who have been 
                                             called according to His purposes.

Thank You Lord for accepting me .
