Poetic-Verses
Our legacy.
Cannons roar upon the field
men advance none will yield,
cries of pain from laying hurt
oozing blood mixed with dirt.
Another field that's won or lost
yet no one cares about the cost,
how many wars or battles fought
how to die is all they're taught.
They blame a god because they can
religeon starts and ends with man,
nothings learned from wars before
except how to kill more and more.
Politicians give their words of charm
whilst building up their nuclear arms,
and the world goes hungry people cry
but who really cares if they should die.
This world will end abrupt one day
bombs will fall while children play,
poisonous smoke will choke the earth
a legacy of what all we're worth.
men advance none will yield,
cries of pain from laying hurt
oozing blood mixed with dirt.
Another field that's won or lost
yet no one cares about the cost,
how many wars or battles fought
how to die is all they're taught.
They blame a god because they can
religeon starts and ends with man,
nothings learned from wars before
except how to kill more and more.
Politicians give their words of charm
whilst building up their nuclear arms,
and the world goes hungry people cry
but who really cares if they should die.
This world will end abrupt one day
bombs will fall while children play,
poisonous smoke will choke the earth
a legacy of what all we're worth.
