The castle
There's a place that I go when I'm lonely
it's there that I hear the rolling sea,
birds fly high above my lonely castle
a king without a queen I'll always be.
The shadows within my lonely castle
they stay and never want to leave,
they follow me around in my silence
they know within my heart I grieve.
When I'm there in my lonely castle
no one else can see the tears I cry,
just me alone with all my shadows
and a mirrow to watch the years go by.
Maybe someday I'll leave my lonely castle
and leave all those shadows far behind,
for a king without a queen means nothing
but true love is so very hard to find.
