I GO TO TWO CHURCHES

Sometimes I go to the
Helix Community Church
Sometimes I go to the
Pendleton Seventh Day Adventist Church
While there are many people
Who would say I'm crazy in
Every way
Trying to learn about the bible
In this late life
God forgives as his
Child, Sister, Mother, Wife
He is all, and I am little
He's spiritually fit as a fiddle
While I try not to make a fuss
Both churches are good and I trust
Them to teach me more of God's word
That often I've not understood
But understanding doesn't have to be the key
It's knowing God's love sets me free
That counts
As darkness mounts
There is no darkness in the night
I'd go to any holy place that brings light
An angel to whisper in my ear
I'll hear, and care, and God will be there...
