God calls the son of man,
Says you are in my plan;
As a guard of people,
Protecting with the Gospel.
Listen what God does say,
Let Him know when you pray;
As a watchman all night,
For evil in your sight.
And warn them for the Lord,
That His Word is ignored;
But if they cheat or lie,
Then they shall surely die.
Not to warn or speak out,
Or ever have a doubt;
For if they do confess,
The Lord will surely bless.
Change from their wicked ways,
And God will bless their days;
With all of their money,
For their milk and honey.
They will die of their sin,
For corruption within;
If not seeing the light,
Since they have no insight.
If the righteous do wrong,
Agony will prolong;
They will start to stumble,
And die if they grumble.
Warn them so they will know,
The detours not to go;
You will breathe your last breath,
If you would cause their death.
