So many things to do with our future on the line
I can feel it, can you, we're running out of time
The morning sun has just begun, dark is on the run
Pack it now with things for us, a new day has begun
They say times are changing, read the news
More bad than good with different views
The bees have gone as things go wrong
People die, hunger wins, I wonder why
John said “Imagine” why don't we try
The children of the world don't know hate
To be as one having fun, no tearful eye just great
Fruitless trees with missing birds if only the blind could see
The rivers dry beneath our sky, they say the world is free?
We can make it happen, it's easy if we try
Our rivers can run free again, live love below our sky
