You Sit, You Watch, You Wait....

You sit, you watch, you wait...
You live, you love, you hate.
As you sit upon your front steps,
smoking what you've earned,
you lay back and you think about all the things you've learned.

Life has taught you nothing,
but how to live in sorrow.
Hoping, wishing, praying that you wouldn't see tomorrow.

Looking back upon your life's enough to make you weep,
all you really wanna do is just lay back and sleep.
And even though you know that tomorrows gonna come,
you sit, you watch, you wait.......
and hope you never see the sun.
