I run into your ocean
never reaching your ocean shore
We meet
at the mouth of me,
your river
I am received completely
Freely,
I touch your ocean's mouth
I gather sweet water
from your ocean
and I drink and I drink
until,
I am fully satisfied
I bathe
my brown skin
in your ocean
my heart beat rises,
like the morning sun
until ,
your ocean turns your tide
to let your waves ride
to a height of passionate incline.
I am your river
I run into your ocean

I swim deep within the heart
of your inner reef
forever.
