LIke Swifts Do On The Breeze
To my lovely granddaughter Maddie who is 25 years old today 6/7/13 Have a wonderful happy birthday baby. Love always Nannie xxx
One quarter of a century
Has passed since you were born
On that lovely sunny day
That golden summer morn.
Seems to me that time has flown
Like swifts do on the breeze
A nurse just like your mother
And a Mama if you please
I am proud to be your Nan
And Mia`s Grammy too
Remember that I love you hen
Whatever else you do
Enjoy each precious moment
Hold and hug it near
For this is such a special time
Twenty-five this year
Each second is for you alone
To live with all your might
Snap shots in your memory
As years fade out of sight
Birthdays are so magic
No matter what your age
Enjoy this one my baby
Before you turn the page.
