Reflections of Judy

  hero of the blues

Sometime you have to wear heartache like a badge,
love hurt more than you could imagine,
you walked though fire,
you paid your dues,
you are a hero of the blues.

Sometime we all face,
Love's dangers in the dark,
With Love's sweet taste,
we bravely give our heart, Knowing what we have to lose,
I have also danced in those shoes.

We all have made the mistake,
that has lead us to heartbreak,
there are many tears in the eyes,
from wounded hearts,
and stolen pride,
I can see you are broken and bruised,
put your badge on.
and go on a cry,
Somehow you will get through.

you walked through fire,
you paid your dues,
you are a hero of the blues.

It took a brave heart.
to get to where you are,
You walked though the fire,
you pay your dues,
you are the hero of the blues.

you get knocked down by love,
and you get up again.
you walk though Love's flame and fire,
You stand in heartache's rain and wind,
The only way I can explain,
how a broke heart makes it though,
all of the pain when you lose,

You walk through the fire,
you pay your dues,
you are a hero of the blues.
