That Change
There is nothing more fulfilling than having an occupation
This tends to bring a feeling of joy and gratification
Being able now to have that feeling of financial independence
How this situation can bring to one's life a feeling of great difference
Then in time there is that desire to be thinking and contemplating
About purchasing those things that would be cherished personal items
Those clothes of a style and brand those that are quite trendy
On that fit quite perfectly into those contours of the body
Whilst in time there will be some other acquisitions coming along
Such as jewelry made of gold, silver and a sparkling diamond
Knowing that they will look so well in that room in the home
Now there is some sign of improvement as you property has grown
There would be such admiration from both family and friend
Who show such amazement at the extent of how you are growing
But they may have overlooked the way you got to that stage
Is by prudence being frugal and an affordable mortgage
But alas at you bask in the sunlight of that success pride
There will be those of contrasting intentions in them abide
Having such strong uncontrollable desires for your possessions
Would no doubt resort to any form of an illegal acquisition
So throughout the process your plan gelled making that dream a reality
Some saw the finished product and thought it happened quite easily
Never taking time out to think about those sacrifices and hard work
Only saw your results and concluded that the time was short
Now these days as we aged there is that very stark reality
That there is that ever increasing potential of becoming a victim of a robbery
Let us all as people take the blame that we are somehow responsible
To plant that seed in our children's minds that what they want thy at any time is entitled
