Welcome to this world
Where the blood runs deep
Flowers soaked in red
As the children count sheep
Beware of this world
Where the skies grow gray
Music sounds like heaven
With every note that plays
Cautiously approach the world
Where cruel laughter shakes
It clings to the outer walls
Waiting for you to break
March along this world
Stay focused on a purpose
Slaughter the pain away
Do not let it resurface
Breathe into this world
Do not let it grow dim
You be its only maker
Not that, her, or him
Leap into this world
Grasp every spec of light
Paint it multi-color
Show your scars and stripes
Smile into this world
It thrives with every win
And even if you fall
Get back up and try again
Run into this world
Send the stars into a daze
Not even their radiance
Can outshine your blaze
Fly into this world
With your every single flaw
Yet don't be afraid
To slow down to a pause
Stand into this world
Don't look back into the dark
"This world" is yours
"This world" is your heart
