Don't Close The Door

Don't Close The Door      July 16,2013

American pie and smoke in the sky
Good days of the past, another try
Some are gone, did you say goodbye
Imagine the words, I still ask why
Many more, don't close the door
The day the king died, gone for sure
Michael has left with some of the rest
We miss them all, no ones the best
Bobby, John and Martin taken away
Life goes on or so they say
Africa dies as the children cry
Nelson is with us, you can't deny
American pie and smoke in the sky
Good days of the past, another try
