'' So Much For Their One Called God ''

The child looked up in awe and wonder,
First there was lightning then came the thunder,
Her world was being torn asunder,
She was completely overawed.

Who are all these giants going past,
Some going slow while others fast,
These monsters walking left her aghast,
They were also very broad.

Why can't I walk instead of crawl?
When I try to stand I always fall,
It's rigid legs I must install,
As across the floor I maraud,

Metal monsters on top of wheels,
Making noises which sound like squeals,
I think they call them automobiles,
With rubber they are shod.

Strange objects flying through the skies,
The laws of gravity are what this defies,
I swear I saw it with my own eyes,
No I'm not a silly sod.

You must never lie or get into fights,
Love thy neighbours, both blacks and whites,
Use your brain to protect your rights,
To do otherwise is flawed.

They're telling me be kind to others,
After all we're sisters and brothers,
My problem is reality smothers,
Their hypocrisy I must applaud.

They're praying to someone I can't see,
Saying he's the one who will set your soul free
Yet these adults always seem to disagree,
That's what I find odd.

They're saying my life he will protect,
With my soul he will connect,
His Godliness I must never reject,
Or they'll class me as a fraud.

To join with God you must take a vow,
That killing others we would never allow,
I'll tell you this here and now,
Human genocide has never thawed.

Killing others is against his will,
Goodness in all he does instill,
His commandment states thou shalt not kill,
Yet it's to the killing fields we plod.

Everything they've taught me to abhor,
Is now ignored when I ask what for,
My mentors are sending me to war,
