Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Now you are not there...

I went back to the place where I had last seen you
though the years have fast flown I remembered it all
the warmth and the passion born of innocent surrender
and our names in the old oak where we had once scrawled…
the sun was fast sinking and calling the night winds
as my mind drifted through all the days that we shared
I smiled to myself thinking of the moments of madness
but cried a little inside now you are not there…
