What's Missing
How often people tend to take time to look around
Realizing that such a great treasure can be found
In appreciating the fact that such beauty is in the other
So why do they use such time to criticize and often bother
Today we can seem many that the serious look upon the face
Getting caught up in what they perceive to be a type of race
Trying to accumulate things and the friend and neighbor better
But would not try to take time out to enjoy those fruits of their labor
Around them there is such a wonder and enigma of nature
The golden sunshine and watching the placid sea water
So focus and that mind seems so fixed in that department
That there is very little time to see the type of predicament
How many of their children would tell you that it was such a delight
To see the moon in its glory as its beams was cast on a night
Or how they felt watch moisture condensed on those flower petals
As the remarkable thing called dew on them just quickly settles
With all these modern devices and such communication avenues
People just seem to use those homes just like if there are recluse
As each member just quickly rushes off into their room and get engrossed
In that world of technology so personal contact with each other is lost
Going now are those day when family and friends seem to gather
Have that quality time playing some games and enjoying some banter
Oh! What music to the ears to hear someone filling the air with laughter
This type of scene seem now to be one that is in grave danger
Many of those shows today that would be considered comedy
One could look and see the age groups of those enjoying the hilarity
As the younger ones will prefer even if they dare to come out
Will be so busy on those electronic devices shutting the surroundings no doubt
And so we can see many of them quickly resorting to such anger
In this case the incident did not deserve going to such a measure
It is time that families try to see they vacuum that they are creating
Try to find time to socialize and enjoy some laughter is it a very effective medicine.
