If you hear that I am dead
Don't you believe it's true!
For at that very moment
I'll be more alive than you!

The body which was limited
And subject to decay
May be lying cold and still
But I have flown away!

Time has lost its hold on me
For now, at last, I'm free!
I have gone from life to life,
Entered eternity!

Imagine my amazement
When I first look around!
Can you hear me whisper,"Wow!"
At every sight and sound?!

I'm walking on those streets of gold!
O, what a picture Heaven paints!
I can hear a Heavenly Choir!
I'm meeting all the Saints!

Loved ones I have longed to see
Are running up to me!
Wearing robes of righteousness
Which all read "Calvary!"

Someone is walking toward me!
Somehow I know this One!
He's more brilliant than the stars
And much brighter than the sun!

His arms are reaching for me!
All Heaven knows His Name!
"Welcome Home," His voice rings out.
"I'm so very glad you came."

Be Joyful In The Lord,

"But now they desire a better,
that is, a Heavenly Country.
Therefore God is not ashamed
to be called their God, for
He has prepared a city for them."
Hebrews 11:16 NKJV
