Victim of the Day July 28, 2013
It's my turn to go, I can't say no
I'm starting my new life today
I'm heading out from Ireland
I'm a victim of the day
Leaving my town and other things
Farewell to my family and friends
My dreams of tomorrow
I'll know there'll be sorrow
It's goodbye to the land of my past
I fly like the lark, I hope it don't last
My broken dreams, you know what I mean
I'm leaving my land for a place I've not seen
Walking lonely streets with penniless dreams
I'm leaving my land to capture my future
My life is waiting, that's how it seems
It's my turn to go, I can't say no
I'm starting my new life today
