My Self Alone

My self-Alone           July 28, 2013

I'm on my own, not on the phone
You could say “myself Alone”
I'm thinking about the dead
I'm thinking about Ireland
Heroes gone and heroes here
Heroes fighting, without fear
Where are they now, in the sky?
I think about them to soon to die
I think about them often with my secret cry
I love them all, every one
Why did this have to happen?
Goodbye my Irish heroes
I'm on my own, not on the phone
You could say “myself alone”
