I search for ways to serve your cause…
To point the way to you.
That others may enjoy the peace…
The provisions that I do.
No, I speak not of wealth untold
Unless it’s in your plans…
For the greatest treasure man could seek
Was nailed into your hands.
Forgiveness, although free to all,
Came at a heavy cost.
You gave Your Son at Calvary
To buy back what was lost.
How can I paint a portrait of
A spiritual imagery?
Make ugly stains upon a Cross
Appear as Christ made them to be?
For beautiful is every drop
Of blood the Savior shed…
Without this sacrifice for sin
The dead would remain dead.
What words can I use to describe
The wonder of Your deeds?
For You uphold the universe
Yet tend to all our needs.
Your beauty I cannot explain
Or express in any way.
It outshines the most sacred scene
I could put on display.
But in my simple way with words
May I just simply quote…
Lord, you are the very beauty in
Every single poem I wrote.

Isaiah 52:7
King James Version (KJV)
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet
of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace;
that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth
salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Psalm 27:4
King James Version (KJV)
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I
seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple
