O give thanks to the Lord,
Because He is so good;
Be within one accord,
Worship Him as you should.

His mercy and His grace,
It endures forever;
With wanting to embrace,
Hold you not to sever.

Repeat all you have heard,
For the one who defends;
Remembering each word,
Of the one who befriends.

From the east and the west,
From the south and the north;
Jesus knows what is best,
His people come henceforth.

They wandered through the land,
Without any city;
Just tumbleweed and sand,
It was not too pretty.

They hungered and they thirst,
None of them seem to cope;
Each one had to be first,
Appearing to lose hope.

In their distress they cried,
Christ hears and He rescues;
He is the crucified,
By moral and virtues.

Let them give thanks and praise,
To the Lord for His grace;
And worshiping always,
As we go to His place.
