No Accident

Blinded by fear
On top of mountain
Ground was near
On death I was counting

Screaming for peace
Joker by design
My only release
Then a hand found mine

In her eyes I saw Blue
Changed what I saw
The music came through
Unlocked the door

Mind could roam
Voices clear
No longer alone
In joy a tear

Words straight to my soul
Gave hope, before untried
Addiction control
Beauty ‘til I cried

Then fate took my crown
Love denied me
Sky fell down
Demons set free

Only now to understand
Fate was on my side
The journey planned
A bumpy ride

Today I can see
I listen and can hear
Words come to me
When other’s darkness is near
