At 48 she has succumbed
To much abuse and too then some
Escaping life that had no means
To be happy and live her dreams
Yet in escape still trouble came
To bring bad news and now sustain
A battle hers, her fight to live
With illness born, what more to give
Her circumstance, now what to do
A need to breathe as she wants to
And so begins her will to beat
The odds against her to defeat
Know well dear aunt of one that writes
Upon this site has asked for might
In prayer form this one goes out
To you who needs a turn about
In Gods name know well this day
Becomes your call as others pray
For healing yours to strike against
Disease by power Heaven sent
Unknown to me are you well loved
By niece you raised that she spoke of
To those upon this site that know
Gods in control of Him take hold
Fight to live for better days
Are yours to have until GOD says
Its time daughter but not today
Today but one of better days
For Serenity's aunt
