Early in the morning,
After whence I had heard;
Without any warning,
Someone spoke from the Word.
So I did look around,
An angel said to me;
His voice had a new sound,
Making my eyes to see.
He went to the temple,
As he began to teach;
Where a crowd of people,
Their arms stretched as to reach.
They waited at a pool,
Where Christ was coming near;
In the center a stool,
Where Christ said have no fear.
As Paul shouts please come in,
The Holy Spirit cleans;
No longer stink of sin,
Baptism intervenes.
I went there and sat in,
They laid hands on my head;
Pushed me down to cleanse sin,
It felt like a shell shed.
We must obey the Lord,
Rather than people here;
Staying in one accord,
Delighting in the fear.
For we witness the loss,
Causing toils and strife;
And took down from the cross.
Experiencing new life.
