A new day is starting to dawn,
Now August but is nearly gone;
Football season about to start,
That most men have it in their heart.
As most men are having the nerve,
Another quarterback to serve;
Instead of the most Holy One,
The Father Spirit and His Son.
So be humbled by His power,
Not letting Him to go sour;
Then when the time is coming true,
God the Father shall honor you.
Turn all of your anxiety,
That built up from this society;
And with the Father you should share,
Because He totally does care.
Be alert and keep your mind clear,
The darkness hides those things to fear;
Satan is the lion that roars,
And lurks through one of the closed doors.
He watches every hour,
For anyone to devour;
So be firm in faith and resist,
No matter how he may persist.
Know that others suffer the same,
But do not stop what you proclaim;
God who shows His kindness to you,
Into the light He guides you through.
He restores and strengthens your soul,
As he takes and start to control;
You may suffer for a while,
But the power is His style.
