THE - GREAT - TAPESTRY - MAKER - """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" WRITTEN AUGUST 2013 BY S.C.MITCHELL Father - You are the Great Tapestry Maker of our lives - and So much of what we see is just a tangle of different colours - Contrasts - knots ansd weaves - with what seems to be a lack Of rhyme or reason - so much so - that we cannot see at times Which way ahead You'd have us go - but all the while our trust Is in Your skilful hand - which moves - according to the way You've Planned - with sunny hues and then the grey - to lead us through Each changing day - where - as we see our lives unfold - we see The rainbows and the gold - though hidden through a veil of tears - As sorrows come - as do the fears - but through it all Your hand is True - and deep within the midnight blue - there shines a light into The dark - that guides us through the darkest night - into the morning and the light - and sweet Refreshing dew . One day - when we have reached the other shore - the loom is Stilled - and moves no more - then we can see the picture true - That speaks of labour - borne with love - from You - as You turn Your work of art towards the Son - we see the marvels You have done - with the paltry bits we've offered You - we stand in awe at All You do - as now - what could have been a tangled mess - is Glorious in its Holiness - as You have cleansed us from our Grimy past - and covered us with wondrous Grace - as of a Bridal veil of purest white - our shame is gone - and All is bright . So - thank You Lord - that now I see - Your love has Blessed and covered me - and all my sins have Been replaced - by the reflection of Your Lovely Face . """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" I know that I am still a work in progress , and the picture isn't yet complete , but I am so grateful that Jesus is the Master Tapestry Maker of my life , and He won't give up until it is complete . I also pray that you will let Him be the same for you . God bless you Stella >< Vote for this poem
