Duly noted that many poets come on site asking for feedback.
Discouraged writing many poems and receiving few responses. I like
all of my fellow poets do not write for my own edification. Though
with my kid's sports and time used writing novels poetry writing is
limited. Still it is discouraging putting something you think well
written on the last hundred and watch it quickly disappear as a poet
fights with an imaginary friend or frankly made up attempts at self
porn. I find the best way to get feedback is to take the time to read
others offerings. For some I might suggest squeeze in between your own
offerings for a time and do some deeper insight into other poets works.
There are of course poets you just cannot relate to their style. Still
it does not hurt to encourage. Poetry is an outlet for emotions. Now
excuse me I am going to look at a few poems. If you did not get a critique
it is not that you were not read. Can't improve your minds work, and
in my case I most appreciate input and expecially a poor typist finding
spelling mistakes I have let flow by.OK, maybe feedback is not the way.
Sadly have gone through the last hundred and few I can make a comment on
and those I do are too busy putting things on for their own edification./dandy
