The Black & White Poet

I've heard he's danced around you
Twirling your body around
Meanwhile demons take pleasure
Watching it all go down
You've sold all God gave you
With nothing back to gain
You've given your hands over
And your heart in a plastic bag
I've heard your soul screaming
As far as I may be
As your pride overcame you
And you refused to be set free
You elaborate fairy tales
And twist all that is true
You delight in all the lies
That have now become of you
Disguised is the beauty
That once came from your face
You're lost in false reality
Your hearts are full of hate
When this party is all over
The delusions will start to fade
You'll stand with eyes wide open
To what was all a masquerade
