Language of Enchantment - A PERFECT HEART

A Perfect Heart

Is it possible to house
In this body weak and frail
A perfect heart toward God…
A heart that will not fail?

A heart that seeks perfection
By simply trusting in His Word
A heart that quietly listens
And responds to all its heard?

Yes! The promises of God
Through Christ are absolute!
Our perfection is in Him
And in Him resides all truth!

God’s not a man that He should lie…
He is the Great I Am!!
Within our hearts dwells Majesty!!!
Just how perfect is The Lamb?!

O, pleasures forever more
Are available to those
Who are following the One
From whom all blessing flows.

“Be ye perfect,” says the Word
Would He demand what cannot be?
Within ourselves impossible
But He’s the possibility!!

If we can do all things through Christ
We must commit to do our part
To show the world our perfect God
By showing it a perfect heart.
