Happy Birthday
To Violet and John on their 51st Birthday love always from Da and Carna xxx
High Upon A Star
Your Da loved you both so very much
And he was oh so proud
He told the world about you
Yes he shouted it out loud
This lass oh mine is Violet
But no flower can compare
This laddie here is John like me
Together they`re a pair
John is great at fitba
And he can sing a sang
Violet plays the housewife
An` never cooks things wrang
I met you both when you were twelve
Two lovely weans I saw
John who loved the music
And loved to kick a baw
Violet oh so helpful
A proper bonnie lassie
Had a laugh to make you smile
And sometimes she was sassy
Both with hearts made out of gold
Though life could be unkind
They turned out to be the best
And left their past behind
We both love you babies
And `though your Da has gone
I still love you very much
And his love lingers on
Sent from Heaven up above
His huge hands hold you tight
Sending you his special love
On this special night
I wish you both the very best
That life can bring to you
Violet-John oor lovely twins
I still love you too
Don`t forget to remember
That on his air guitar
Da`s singing Happy Birthday
High up on his star
