 JANET'S PLANET

Reflections On Your Passing

autumn trees photo: Autumn trees Autumnlake3.jpg
When I saw you lying there
so still, too still
my eyes filled with tears
my heart filled with sorrow.
I was told that you,
did not have long to live
I didn't want to believe it
I finally believed it,
when angels graced the room,
I knew they had come for you,
there was a beautiful, bright light,
it covered the entire room,
calmness and stillness,
embraced the room,
you were at peace,
you went with the angels,
and I said good-bye.

Author's note: I enjoy the beauty of the Autumn season.
Yet, I become a little sad, as I reflect on the sudden passing
of my one and only brother.
Written with love, a tribute to my dear brother. (October 18, 2006)
