Middle Class

Some may say that this fury vented by the recession
Will be such that is may placed the middle class at the brink of extinction
And those death rattles get louder as the authorities impose any measure
Because it will be that force which may cause it to buckle under the pressure

There is no doubt that this class covers a very wide and extensive range
But as time progress this group seem not to under the process of change
It has a very large and diverse consumer base also too an integral part of the workforce
So they should understand the power they wield and their great resource

It is quite obvious the power they can and the influence in an economy
Because of occupation some may want to demonstrate and tout that luxury
But the government seeing this may use measure the may include widening that tax net
So therefore they are the ones who would be the ones feeling the effect

But on reflection it can be said that they too played a part in this annihilation
As some of them try boastfully to display to other the level of their income
And so they would get into some form of needless and senseless competition
Trying to outdo the neighbor of friend by making an expensive for of acquisition

Having the type of collateral they sometimes stretched themselves to that financial limit
And so may have string themselves in a way that may broaden that debt net
So they continue blindly without setting up any type of restrictions, bounds or bars
Swelling themselves with pride as they boast of giving the children expensive cars

It is amazing to see people who were born into an era where there was deprivation
Could not use that situation and try to learn from it an inveterate life's long lesson
Why would they not take that state in which they were born and exercise some prudence?
But most of them treat it with scorn, try to forget and so they try to deny that existence
