Love is doing all the little things, With gladness to others it brings; Love is a little touch or hand squeeze, Or a "God bless you" if they sneeze. Love is showing you really care, Taking time for a little prayer; Love is also sharing a wrong, Shorten the pain not to prolong. Love is waking up in your life, With just one as husband or wife; No matter wrinkled or how old, Regardless how things will unfold. Love is being there regardless, For comforting the weariness; Within a sister or brother, On assistance to each other. Love is that feeling can attract, When two people will interact; That starts a butterfly inside, Seeks the other one to abide. Love is deciding to accept, A feeling you cannot interpret; Through thought or emotionally, On someone unconditionally. Love is desire to awake, Looking at for their sake; Every morning at the same, Then going outside to proclaim. Love is when you will only give, The happiness to help you live; Expecting nothing in return, Only a smile do you earn. Love is a oneness of caring, As well as continued sharing; The feeling of joy and unity, Monogamous in chastity. Love is when you have gotten sick, You want to get well really quick; For if it would be another, You must be the caring mother. Copyright © 2013 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
