Janie and Janet  Discover A Green Meadow

The two had planned a vacation time together.
Through the roads and byways they discovered many
beautiful sights.
But the most beautiful was a green meadow.
For the meadow stretched as far as the eye could see.
The light blue sky above the green meadow was something
to behold.
Up ahead were some birds chirping their song of freedom.
While below the meadow was a steeple bell in a church belfry.

At noontime the steeple bell chimed for twelve o'clock.
Then that afternoon there was a hymn coming from the steeple.
Janie and Janet rest on the green meadow.
Suddenly, the watery soldiers began to march upon
the meadow.
Picking up the blanket they had the two of them scurried
to the car.
Watching the meadow from the mirror they looked at the other and smiled.
It was then the watery soldiers stopped
leaving a beautiful rainbow over the meadow.
