You received a gift from God,
When He placed His hands on you;
Because you honor and laud,
Remember to remain true.
So fan your gift into flames,
You have been given power;
Do as any pastor proclaims,
Preach since we know not the hour.
We have no timid spirit,
Rather of power and love;
With good judgment and merit,
That filters down from above.
Never be ashamed to say,
About the Lord and Savior;
Who shines down every day,
And blessing you with favor.
By His power for His sake,
And ensure that the Good News;
Is stronger than an earthquake,
And are shaking in their shoes.
They must know the consequence,
If not believing in Christ;
He will come to their defense,
In why He was sacrificed.
God saved us to be holy,
Not because what we have done,
But as His one and only,
Since He gave His only Son.
It was all part of His plan,
Long before the world started;
God could bridge the gap with man,
Being very warmhearted.
